CANFIELD OH- South Range opened their hole schedule on Monday night welcoming in Division 1 Boardman. After getting beat handily in the first set, the Raiders came back and won the next three to take the match in four (14-25 25-23 25-18 25-21)

Maria Primavera hadn’t played in her home gym in quite some time, she was hurt a good chunk of the 2020 season. Well, she had a monster welcome home party. Primavera finished with 19 kills, and 4 aces. Sarah Kuhns led the team in assists with 19. Reagan Irons finished the game with a season high 27 digs, she also collected a pair of assists, an ace, and a kill.

Jenna Olexa led Boardman’s offense getting into double digits with 12 kills. Kamryn Duritza led the team in assists with 15. Lanie Vennetti had 13. Gianna Cicchillo grabbed 25 digs in an impressive night for the sophomore.

South Range will travel to Struthers on Tuesday. Boardman drops to 0-2 and hosts Salem on Saturday.
