ROOTSTOWN SLOWS THE DOWN THE EAGLES SCORING

WARREN OH- In a matchup that saw Rootstown playing the role of disruptors, they managed to slow down the hot Eagles offense, securing a 55-45 victory on Warren JFK’s home court.

For Warren JFK, Gianna Pompelia led the scoring effort with 12 points, complemented by Didi Ryan with 10 points, Ava Darney with 9 points, Addy Oddille and Hannah Myers each contributing 7 points.

Rootstown, however, showcased their own offensive prowess with Colbie Curall leading the charge, scoring an impressive 14 points. Nadia Lough added 10 points, while Abby White contributed 8 points to secure the crucial win.

With this setback, Warren JFK, now at 10-3, looks to bounce back in their next Wednesday matchup against Mogadore on the road.
