SALEM SLAMS THE DOOR ON THE CATS

SALEM OH- In a 1st round playoff match-up between old conference rivals, Salem got the better of Struthers on Saturday night by a score of 34-19.

The fireworks started early with the Quakers putting 20 points on the board in the 1st quarter using the ground game effectively. The Quakers would add two more scores in Quarter number 2 to take a 34-13 lead into the break, and would hang on to win 34-19.
Jackson Johnson accounted for 4 scores (2 rush, 2 pass) with both through the air being to Blaize Exline. Jason Austin would add the other Quaker score on the night.
Salem travels to Poland next week for round 2 of playoff action.
