SALEM SNAGS SEASON’S FIRST WIN

PIGEON FORGE TN- Salem started their trip down to Tennessee off with a positive note on Monday taking down North Baltimore 7-2.

A Channing Toy triple helped the Quakers get on the board in the first inning.  The Quakers would then keep their foot on the gas in the second frame blowing up for 4 more runs. Morgane Blaine, Mave Johnson, Paige Menough & Mikayla Sneltzer would all score. Emilee Lewis, and Mikayla Sneltzer had big hits to charge the offense.

Lewis, and Lauryn Barton both had multiple hits on the day for the Quakers. They were joined by great performances from Morgane Blainey, Hadley Carlisle, Lainey Thorpe, and Mave Johnson.   Blainey set the tone in the circle for Salem.  She only allowed 4 hits to the North Baltimore offense.
