SENIOR NIGHT GOES WELL FOR WEST BRANCH

BELOIT OH- In a thrilling display of soccer prowess, the West Branch girls soccer team celebrated senior night with a resounding 8-1 victory over a formidable United squad. The game, hosted at West Branch High School, showcased the Warriors’ unwavering dominance.

Senior night festivities set the stage, honoring 11 outstanding seniors who have contributed significantly to the team’s success throughout their high school careers.

The match got off to an electric start, with West Branch securing an early lead by finding the back of the net within the first two minutes. However, United quickly countered, leveling the score with a goal of their own, courtesy of a well-executed corner kick.

From that point forward, it was a one-sided affair as the Warriors unleashed a relentless offensive onslaught, tallying an impressive seven unanswered goals to secure the victory.

Leading the charge for West Branch were Chloe Dennison and Sophia Gregory, each showcasing their goal-scoring prowess with a pair of goals. But they weren’t just finishers; Dennison contributed with three assists, while Gregory added two assists to her impressive performance. Kennedy Berger, Lauren Gossett, Alinee Bacconi, and Samantha Koneval also joined in on the goal-scoring action, ensuring that the scoring was a team effort.
