SPRINGFIELD FINISHES STRONG AGAINST POLAND

POLAND, OH- The Springfield Tigers didn’t need overtime this year to defeat their RT. 170 Rivals, but anytime Poland and Springfield get together, you know it’ll be a classic.

Tuesday night was no different, as the snow wasn’t enough to slow the crowds as Poland’s gym was packed to see a 60-50 final score that kept the Tigers perfect on the season.

Seandelle Gardner had a big finish with 11 points in the final frame, overall Adam Wharry once again shined with 20 points.  Beau Brungard finished with 11, and big-man Alex Rothwell dialed in for 11 in the contest.

Poland was led by Ross Dedo’s 17 points and Christian Colosimo’s 13 tallies in the contest.

Springfield will put their undefeated record back to the test Friday as they travel to Sebring. Poland will also be on the road Friday as they go to Hubbard.
