SPRINGFIELD GIRLS BASKETBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP 1) WITH JOHN MATISI

NEW MIDDLETOWN OH- Last season, Springfield girls basketball got further than any other hoops team on YSN, getting all the way to Dayton. As they’ll carry the momentum from their state tournament run, they also bring some new faces into the fold.  Springfield returns three varsity starters to the floor, and a bunch of others that played a big role in their success.

Head coach John Matisi was kind enough to take the time to talk with YSN’s Ty Bartell and Anthony Hartwig about what their season will look like. He talks about the leaders that he’ll have on the floor this season, why there is such excitement around the program this season, and so much more.
