LADY RAIDERS NE8 DEBUT SPOILED BY BULLDOGS

The Raiders volleyball team lost their first conference match of the year Tuesday night to Lakeview in 4 sets (25-23 13-25 19-25 22-25)

The Raiders won a back and forth set 1 as they took advantage of poor hitting by the Bulldogs. The Raiders tallied 10 kills in set 1 and Anna Primavera had 6 of them. The Raiders also only surrendered 3 attack errors which helped them win set 1 25-23.

In set 2 the Bulldogs found a hole in the Raiders defense and exploited it. The soft attacks to the middle of the court were the poison of choice as the Dawgs ran away with set 2 13-25. The Raiders only had 5 kills and also 5 errors to hit 0% in that set.

In set 3 the Raiders were hitting better much like set 1, however the soft attack of Lakeview was still giving the Raider defense fits.
