FALCONS DEMOLISH AVALANCHE

STRUTHERS OH- The Astro Falcons manhandled Avalanche on Friday 18-1. They combined for twelve runs in two innings between the 4th and the 5th. The Falcons scored 18 runs on 17 hits.

Seth Cervello went 3-4 for the Falcons. He scored 2 runs and collected 2 RBI. Stephen Tarnoci went 3-4 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI. Ben Slanker went 2-3 with 2 runs scored, a walk, and a RBI.

Keegan Balla had a perfect day at the plate and went 2-2 for Avalanche. Paxton Grimes went 1-1.

Aiden Miller took home the win on the rubber for the Falcons. He went 5 innings giving up 1 run on 4 hits. He struck out 6.

A2Z KEEPS ON ROLLING

STRUTHERS OH-

A2Z had all cylinders firing on offense on Thursday, winning big over Avalanche 12-2

In the first inning, A2Z got their offense started when Matt Boccieri doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

A2Z tallied five runs in the third inning.  Their offense in the inning was led by Carson Bish, Matt Paparodis, Joe Aey, and Tyler Canfield, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Paparodis was the winning pitcher for A2Z. He lasted five innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out six.

Zach Livosky took the loss for Avalanche. He allowed five hits and five runs over two innings.

Danny Nittoli led A2Z with two hits in two at bats.

PROSPECTS PUT THE HURT ON AVALANCHE

STRUTHERS OH-

Prospects was victorious over Avalanche, 7-3

Avalanche took an early lead in the first inning.

In the top of the second inning, Prospects tied things up at two.  Donovan McCoy grounded out, scoring one run.

Prospects took the lead for good with one run in the third inning.  In the third Michael Condoleon doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Cobey Airwikie  was the winning pitcher for Prospects. He went two and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on two hits, striking out four and walking zero.  

Hunter Stelter took the loss for Avalanche. He went two and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs on five hits and striking out one.

Caleb Hadley led Prospects with two hits in four at bats.

FALCONS REMAIN UNBEATEN

STRUTHERS OH-

Avalanche watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 10-1 loss to Astro Falcons on Wednesday. The Falcons took the lead on a double in the first inning.

The Avalanche  struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Astro Falcons, giving up ten runs.

The Falcons opened up scoring in the first inning.  Jake Schneider doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.They then scored three runs in the third inning.  Nick Lewis, Jaden Rishel, and Kolten Ruark each had RBIs.

Rishel was the winning pitcher for Astro Falcons. He lasted three innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out four.  

Chandler Maurice took the loss for Avalanche. He allowed three hits and three runs over one and one-third innings, striking out two.

Santino Piccirilli, David Moyer, and Mark Cattron each managed one hit to lead

EAGLE WEAR SOARS HIGH OVER AVALANCHE

STRUTHERS OH- Eagle Wear used a ten run 4th inning to blow out Avalanche 14-5 on Tuesday. They trailed 3-2 going in the inning. They scored their 14 runs on 13 hits. Avalanche has their 5 runs on 10 hits.

DaShawn Putnam was on fire for Eagle Wear. He went 2-4 with 2 runs scored and 3 RBI. Ryan Hooper went 2-2 with 3 runs scored and 2 RBI. Ian Barton went 3-3 with a run scored and 2 RBI.

For the Avalanche, Paxton Grimes has a perfect day going 3-3 with a RBI. Brandon Boyles went 1-2 with a RBI. Julian Trott went 2-3 with 2 runs scored.

Larry Iagulli picked up the victory on the bump for Eagle Wear. He went 5 innings giving up 4 earned runs on 10 hits. He struck out 3.

DURA EDGE SMOTHERS AVALANCHE

STRUTHERS OH- Dura Edge had tremendous pitching on Sunday night against Avalanche. They shut out the Avalanche offense and only allowed 4 hits. Their offense on the other hand scored 4 runs on 7 hits.

Braden Gebhardt went 2-3 for Dura Edge with a walk and 2 RBI. Caleb Jones went 2-4 with a run scored. Jack Beneigh collected the third team RBI for Edge.,

For Avalanche, Brandon Boyles went 1-1 with a walk. Nolan Reichard went 1-1 as well. Julian Trott and Haydin McLaughlin also collected a hit a piece.

Tyler Rekich got the win on the mound for Dura Edge. He went 6 innings and gave up 0 runs on 3 hits. He struck out 6.

ROTH THUNDERS OVER AVALANCHE

STRUTHERS OH-

An early lead helped Roth Brothers defeat Avalanche 14-2 on Sunday.  Roth scored on a double by Dylan Casey, an error, and a groundout by Brendan Ray in the first inning.

Roth Brothers notched seven runs in the fourth inning.  CJ Frasco, Andrew Kali, PJ Scott, Dustin Smith, Ben Wilcox, and  John Cambert each drove in runs during the inning.

Ray was the winning pitcher for Roth Brothers. He went two and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on zero hits and striking out five.  Gabe Saunders threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Zach Livosky was on the pitcher’s mound for Avalanche. He lasted two innings, allowing six hits and seven runs while striking out two.  Anthony Roper and Hunter Stelter entered the game as relief, throwing one inning and one inning respectively.

Roth Brothers tallied 11 hits.  Tyler Wardle and Kali each racked up multiple hits.  Kali and Wardle all had two hits to lead.

Santino Piccirilli went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Avalanche.

AVALANCHE FREEZES ROTH BROTHERS

STRUTHERS OH- Avalanche used a five run 2nd inning to push past Roth Brothers 5-4. Neither team scored after the 2nd inning as the game quickly turned into a pitcher’s duel. Avalanche scored 5 runs on 6 hits, Roth scored 4 runs on 5 hits.

One of Avalanche’s six hits came from Haydin McLaughlin who went 1-2 with a walk and 2 RBI.  Jake Mattocks went 1-3 with a RBI. Ethan Mannon was the only Avalanche hitter to have multiple hits going 2-3 with a run scored.

For Roth Brothers, Chance Laczko went 2-3 with a run scored and a RBI. Sam Campbell went 1-3 with 2 RBI. Alex Nicholson went 1-2 with a run scored.

Tim West picked up the victory on the mound for Avalanche, he went 4 innings giving up 0 runs on 1 hit. He struck out 3.

BALLISTIC SHOOTS DOWN AVALANCHE

STRUTHERS OH-

Ballistic Baseball nabbed the lead late in the game in an 8-4 victory over Avalanche on Tuesday.  The game was tied at four with Ballistic batting in the top of the fifth when Michael Chambers singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

Avalanche scored four runs in the third inning, but Ballistic still managed to pull out the victory.  Avalanche  batters contributing to the big inning included Santino Piccirilli and Chandler Maurice, all driving in runs in the frame.

Ballistic got things moving in the first inning, when Zach Ganser grounded out, scoring one run.

Avalanche knotted the game up at four in the bottom of the third inning, when Maurice doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.

Chambers led the Ballistic to victory on the pitcher’s mound. He went three innings, allowing zero runs on three hits, striking out one and walking one.  

William Moore took the loss for  Avalanche. He lasted one inning, allowing one hit and one run while walking zero.

 Hunter Stelter started the game for  Avalanche. He surrendered four runs on four hits over one inning, walking one

Dom Elia started the game for Ballistic. He surrendered four runs on four hits over two and a third innings, striking out three and walking one

Zach Livosky went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Avalanche in hits.

AVALANCHE USE EARLY RUNS TO BEAT BALLISTIC

STRUTHERS OH- All seven of Avalanche’s runs came in the first 4 innings. It was enough to withstand some late runs scored by Ballistic Baseball to secure a 7-6 win, even though Ballistic out hit them 10-4.

Collin Brainard went 1-2 for Avalanche with 2 RBI. Ethan Mannon went 1-2 with a walk, a run scored, and 2 RBI. Paxton Grimes went 1-3 with 2 RBI.

For Ballistic, Nick Vitale went 3-3 with a run scored and a RBI. Mike Earnan went 1-3 with a RBI. Dalton Curron went 3-3 with 2 runs scored.

Brainard got the win for Avalanche. He went 4 innings giving up 2 earned runs on 7 hits. He struck out a pair.
