NEW MIDDLETOWN, OH – Head coach Jeff Brink is back on the sidelines for another season of Springfield Tigers hoops as they will look to build on their consistency within the MVAC and Mahoning Valley as one of the powerhouse programs. Coach Brink is coming off a 2022-2023 campaign that saw the Tigers go 12-11 with a playoff loss to a talented Badger Braves team. This year however, Coach returns some key players and looks to keep that Tigers success running.

YSN’s own, Steve Leslie, was able to sit down with Coach Brink this week at the Tigers Table to talk about the offseason that the Tigers have been having, what their schedule looks like this season, who are some key players and potential standouts that not many fans have heard about yet, what his thoughts and expectations are for the upcoming season, and so much more!

NEW MIDDLETOWN, OH – Head coach John Matisi is eager to get back on the sidelines for another season of Springfield Lady Tigers basketball as they will look to rebound and continue their dominance after a state final four loss last year. Coach Matisi is coming off a 2022-2023 season that saw the Tigers go 24-4 with a loss to state championship runners up, Toledo Christian. This year however, Coach will look to replace a very talented senior class that took this program to the next level while looking to the future of the team as he will rely one some newcomers joining the returners.

YSN BOYS BASKETBALL ALL STAR ROSTERS ANNOUNCED

EAST PALESTINE, OH – We are excited to hold our 3rd annual YSN Basketball All Star Game this season to highlight the best talent in the YSN family. The game is set for March 25th at Youngstown State University inside the beautiful Beeghly Center.  As the number of signed on schools to the YSN family grows, so does the number of roster spots. We have some newcomers to the game this year, along with some familiar faces.  On Saturday night we had our live random draft where we placed each participant on their respective team. We can’t wait to see all these great athletes at Youngstown State University on March 25th.  Check in will begin at 4:00.  The girls game is set for a 5:00 tip off. The boys game will follow at 7:00. If possible, please wear your high school uniform. If you are on the away team listed above please wear your dark uniform, if you are on the home team, please wear your white/light uniform.

For fans attending the game at the Beeghly Center on the campus of Youngstown State University the admission will be $10 for adults, and $5 for students.  Doors will open to the public at 4:00.  One ticket will get you in to both games. All proceeds made at the gate will be donated to Brighten Up For Kids. YSN is proud to continue its tradition of using our All Star Games as great avenues to give back to local charities.
