WEST BRANCH BASEBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP 2) WITH RICK MULINIX

BELOIT OH-What has gotten into The West Branch Warriors? After taking a couple games to, no pun intended, get into full swing this season. The Warriors look like they are ready to start operating in full stride in the second half of the season. West Branch Baseball has caught breaks with weather, in a spring that has many teams fighting to just get on the field every day.

For Coach Rick Mulinix, the development of baseball players is first and foremost! However, that mentality has been in place for years, and for years, West Branch has winning seasons to show for it. You do not want to miss Coach Mulinix’s appearance on Running Point!

SKY IS THE LIMIT

BELOIT OH- West Branch softball does have a lot of new faces on their team, but they have mixed it with several awesome senior leaders. One of those leaders is Skyler Greeneisen.

Skyler has gone through four years in the program and has grown a ton as a player, and a person. As a player, she bring the thunder to the middle of that lineup. A lineup that is already highly feared by opponents of the Warriors. Skyler has already hit a grand slam this season, with a handful of other home runs as well. She didn’t have all the confidence in the world coming in to the season she says, but we bet she does now! Skyler is off to one of the hottest starts of anyone in the YSN family.

Skyler is the older of two Greeneisens that you’ll see on the Warriors roster. She has an opportunity that not everyone gets, which is spending a year sharing the softball diamond with her sister. She certainly isn’t taking the blessing for granted, and trying to soak in every moment of the season with her sister. Some moments may be better than others, but it is clear that these two sisters make eachother better.

Skyler took the time to talk with YSN’s Anthony Hartwig this week about her senior season. They discuss not only her dynamic with her sister, but also her relationship with Coach Woods and how it’s grown over the years. Don’t miss a second of the latest West Branch softball player profile only on YSN.
