NEW MIDDLETOWN OH- Another week, another dominating Springfield victory on the gridiron. This one came at the expense of the Lowellville Rockets with a final score of 62-18.

Springfield’s offense exploded with 419 yards, including the standout Junior QB, Beau Brungard throwing for over 250 yards, and five touchdowns in the victory.  Seandelle Gardner was a key receiver with 83 yards and a score.

On the ground, Clayton Nezbeth churned out five carries and a touchdown.

Lowellville was still able to put up numbers against Springfield’s defense though. Vinny Ballone went 21-45 with 260 yards, and he also caught a 29-yard touchdown pass. Brady Bunofsky has 13 receptions for 149 yards.

Springfield moves on to play Waterloo in Week 5. The Rockets will look to regroup as they’ll host a Sebring team coming off their first win of the season.
