WHEN IN ROHM; DEVILS ERASE LIONS

LISBON, OH – Redemption was on the mind Tuesday night in Lisbon, as the Blue Devils welcomed the Lions of Heartland Christian to town. Earlier this season, the Lions upset Lisbon 53-50, since then the Blue Devils have wanted to play the rematch and avenge that loss.

The game started off slow for both teams as the score was deadlocked at zero for almost half of the first quarter, ultimately siding with Lisbon at the quarter break, 8-7. In the second quarter, the Lions offense started clicking as they took a 25-18 lead into the locker room. Lisbon however was not thrown off by that little outburst as they exploded out of the half to tie the game back up at 34 going into the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter the Lisbon offense continued rolling, as Gaige Rohm came off the bench and put up 12 points in the quarter. That spark pushed Lisbon ahead en route to an exciting 53-50 victory.

Gaige Rohm was the high point man for Lisbon with 15 points off the bench, while Ryan McCullough chipped in 13 points, as well as, 7 assists. Blayne Brownfield also capped off a solid night scoring 8 points and adding 7 rebounds.

Lisbon (4-7) will look to keep the winning streak alive as they will travel to East Palestine to take on the Bulldogs on Friday night.
