WINDHAM BATS BOMB CHALKER

WINDHAM, OH- The Windham Bombers ran off with the lead late in the game in a 20-5 victory over Chalker on Wednesday. The game was tied at five with the Bombers batting in the bottom of the fourth when Chase Eye singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs, and the flood gates opened.

Eye led Windham to victory by driving in five runs. Eye went 3-for-4 at the plate. Eye drove in runs on a double in the first, a single in the fourth, and a single in the fourth.

The Bombers got on the board in the first inning when Eye doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Miki Jones was the winning pitcher for Windham. The hurler lasted four innings, allowing three hits and five runs while striking out six.

Kirkland took the loss for Chalker. The hurler surrendered 12 runs on seven hits over three and a third innings, striking out three.

Eye started the game for WindhamEye went one inning, allowing zero runs on one hit.  The Windham offense collected 12 hits. EyeLucas ChurchillJones, and Landon Stanley all collected multiple hits.. Eye led the onslaught with three hits in four at-bats.
