BEAVER LOCAL COMES UP SHORT AGAINST HARRISON CENTRAL

HARRISON, OH- Beaver Local fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 10-0 loss to Harrison Central on Wednesday. Harrison Central scored on an error and a wild pitch by Madzia in the first inning.

The Beavers struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Harrison Central, giving up ten runs.  Harrison Central opened up scoring in the first inning when an error scored one run for Harrison Central.

A single by Micah Jones in the first inning was big positive for Beaver Local.

Rutter was credited with the victory for Harrison Central. The pitcher surrendered zero runs on three hits over five innings, striking out nine.

Kristian Lantz took the loss for the Beavers. The righty allowed three hits and five runs over three innings, striking out one.

LantzJones, and Dylan Ferguson each managed one hit to lead the Beaver Local offense.

Jurosko went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Harrison Central in hits.
