Mineral Ridge won big over Waterloo 6-0 on Thursday. The Rams opened the scoring in the second after Zack Stacy singled, scoring one run. The Rams added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Xavier Klamer doubled, Jackson Geddes grounded out, and Waterloo committed an error, each scoring one run.

Nick Anderson earned the win for Mineral Ridge. The starting pitcher gave up zero hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out nine and walking three. The impressive freshman completed his first career no hitter with the impressive performance.

Klamer provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Mineral Ridge with two runs batted in. The number three hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. Gino Novello and Klamer each collected two hits. The Rams ran wild on the base paths, amassing four stolen bases for the game. Mineral Ridge didn’t commit a single error in the field. Ethan Vestorsky had the most chances in the field with nine.
