EAGLES PUT THE HURT ON MCDONALD
MCDONALD OH- The Valley Christian Eagles traveled to McDonald to face the Blue Devils. The Eagles came away with the victory. Scoring 5 touchdowns by 4 different players. Running Back Ja’Sean Lindsey scored twice and went over 100 yards rushing. Valley Christian wins 35-0.
The Eagles would score first with a 10 yard touchdown run by Lindsey making this game 7-0 in the first quarter. In the second quarter, a pass by Blue Devil Zach Shobel found the hands of Valley Christian Tyree Washington for a pick-six interception to increase the eagle lead to 13. First half was mauled by interceptions by both teams. Both defenses able to take the ball away twice in passing game. They go into the locker room with Valley Christian ahead 13-0.
Valley took over in the second half. First play after haltime Lindsey found the endzone again. Two plays later Marquize Gibbs recovered a fumble and headed into the endzone to seal the victory. Eagles win 35-0. Valley Christian will host United next week while McDonald will host Mineral Ridge. Catch both games next week on YSNLIVE.com.
