EDGEWOOD USES A COMEBACK TO REMAIN UNBEATEN

CANFIELD OH- In a thrilling Saturday night matchup, Edgewood staged a remarkable comeback to remain undefeated, securing a 62-51 victory over South Range. Despite trailing 25-12 at one point in the second quarter, the Warriors rallied and ended the half with a 26-25 lead, maintaining their momentum throughout the second half.

Katie McCollister led the scoring charge for Edgewood with an impressive 18 points, claiming the game-high, while Faith Vencill added 13 points, and Avery Vencill contributed 10 points. Leigha Guyton and Annie Mae Johnston rounded out the scoring with 9 and 7 points, respectively.

On the South Range side, Ceci Foster led with 17 points, followed by Sydney Penick with 10 points, and Gwen Lowry contributing 9 points.

Remaining undefeated at 13-0, Edgewood looks ahead to their next challenge on Wednesday as they face Geneva on the road. South Range (6-10) will return to league play on Monday, traveling to Lakeview, as they seek to rebound and regain their winning momentum.
