INDIANS CRUISE BY CHANEY

GIRARD OH- Girard was voted the top seed in their district this season after an impressive regular season. As the calendar turns in to tournament time the Indians have to go earn that top seed. They got their journey started with a quick sweep of Chaney in the sectional semifinals. (25-7 25-3 25-7)

Lauren Pallone led the Girard attack with 10 kills.  Bree Latell shared that lead by chipping in 10 kills herself.  Allison Durkin continued to set her hitters up for success totaling in 26 assists. Bailey Walters had a pair of digs for the defense.  She also served up 5 aces for the Indians.

Girard advances to the sectional championship in the Division II Jefferson bracket. They’ll play NE8 for Niles on Thursday at 5:00 in Girard.
