JFK BLASTS RIGHT THROUGH THE SEMIFINALS

NEW MIDDLETOWN OH- JFK had no trouble on offense Tuesday, winning big over Bristol Panthers 11-1 in the district semifinals.

The Eagles got on the board in the first inning when Dominic Ryan singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

JFK notched five runs in the third inning. Their big inning was driven by a single by Jake Hettrick-Carfangia, a sac fly by Andrew Lapolla, a fielder’s choice by Santino Ciambotti, an error on a ball put in play by Jaden Rishel, and a double by Micheal Bartoe.

Freddy Bolchalk led the Eagles to victory on the pitcher’s mound. The pitcher went five innings, allowing one run on two hits, striking out 12 and walking one.

Diesel Willams took the loss for Bristol. The pitcher went three innings, allowing eight runs on six hits.

JFK scattered nine hits in the game. Ryan and Aidan Rossi each had multiple hits. Rossi and Ryan each managed two hits to lead the offense.
