LAKEVIEW OFFENSE EXPLODES ON LIBERTY
LIBERTY, OH- Kylie Imes came the ballpark and meant business on Thursday, driving in four on two hits to lead Lakeview past Liberty 19-3 on Thursday. Imes drove in runs on a home run in the second and a groundout in the fourth.
Lakeview got things started in the first inning when Maggie Pavlansky doubled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring two runs.
The Lady Bulldogs tallied eight runs in the fourth inning and the big bats were led by Pavlansky, Gianna Caruso, Makenna Werner, Olivia Easton, Imes, and Raegan Schick, who each had RBIs in the inning.
Schick pitched Lakeview to victory. The pitcher allowed one hit and three runs over three innings, striking out five and walking one. Ella Chadwick threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Lakeview hit three home runs on the day. Mariah Tackett went deep in the first inning. Schick had a dinger in the second inning. Imes went yard in the second inning.
Lakeview saw the ball well today, racking up 17 hits in the game. Schick, Easton, Pavlansky, Imes, and Olivia Kelm all collected multiple hits for the victors. Schick went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Lakeview in hits.
