MCCLISH IN THE CLUTCH

SALEM OH- Every time Jenna McClish walks into a gym, whether it be in her home of Salem, or on the road you know you’re going to get energy, and one heck of a time watching her play. Her positivity is contagious and has spread through every member of the Lady Quakers basketball team.

Jenna enters her senior season as one of the best leaders in the area. Several coaches that have either worked with, or competed against her praise the fact that she has what it takes to be a coach if that’s something she pursues. It is because she brings the best out in everyone around her. She sets the standard with her work ethic, and then the players around her follow suit.

Jenna is one of many reasons that the Salem Quakers are off to a fantastic start this season. They sit at just one loss, and are at the top of the YSN Power Rankings. They are also in the middle of a three way tie for first in the EBC.

Anthony Hartwig, and Ty Bartell had the chance to chat with Jenna McClish this week after she won Baird Brothers Big Dog Of The Valley. The Salem community backed her up, and she talks about how much that means to her. She also talks about her basketball journey, and so much more.
