The third quarter is really when the Raiders had to feel like they had control. They kept clawing back into the game, and Bri Modic finally was able to get a couple of open looks at the hoop, one three-pointer went in as she got fouled, and she finished the rare 4 point play on the line. Southeast hit a three however to push their lead back to 5, and the Raiders saw all that momentum go away. They trailed by just 3 after the third quarter 35-32. The Raiders kept cutting into the Southeast lead again and again in the 4th quarter but the Pirates kept answering and coming up with big-time shots. The Pirates also shot very well from the free throw line, which is how they sealed the win 55-50. Izzy Lamparty finished with 20 points and a school record-tying 18 rebounds. Bri Modic was also in double figures with 12 points.
