PROSPECTS GET THE EDGE

STRUTHERS, OHIO- The Prospects just edged the Whiting Roll-Offs this evening at Bob Cene park by a score of 6-3.

The Prospects were led at the plate by Robert Gumino and Gino Lazzeri, who both went 2 for 3. The Roll-Offs were led by Aidan Leiendecker, who went 3 for 3 at the plate. Owen Keister was the losing pitcher of the evening as he allowed four runs on one hit with one strikeout.

Alex Stowe picked up the win on the mound for the Prospects as he allowed three runs on eight hits with five strikeouts.
