QUAKERS MUSCLE THEIR WAY TO SIGNATURE WIN

ALLIANCE OH- It has been Marlington’s run of the EBC for the last couple of seasons. Their stacked roster has run their way to an undefeated conference record coming in to Wednesday night.  On Salem’s side of the battle, the last 3 meetings with Marlington did not go their way.  The Quakers have been trying to find a way past the Dukes. Wednesday night in a hostile environment they finally were able to impose their will on their conference rival.  Salem did what Salem does best, play lock down defense.  The talented Dukes team was held by far to their lowest point total of the season in Salem’s 41-35 win.

Abbie Davidson showed some tremendous toughness on the offensive side of the ball. She fought her way to a 13 point night to lead the way for Salem.  Rylee Hutton also got herself in to double figures with 10 points.  Lauryn Burton contributed 8 points to the cause.

Salem will go outside the conference on Saturday as they hit the road to play Ursuline.
