RAIDERS CLINCH NE8 CHAMPIONSHIP

STOW, OHIO- The South Range Raiders took the victory over Lakeview on Saturday to the tune of 4-1. The win for South Range clinched the outright NE8 title.

The Raiders opened up scoring in the second inning, when Jayli Wilt’s sac fly scored one run for South Range.

Madison Dado led Raiders with three hits in four at bats and Juli Stachowicz led things off in the circle as the pitcher surrendered one run on six hits over seven innings, striking out 11.

Isabella Isenberg was in the pitcher’s circle for Lakeview. The pitcher allowed nine hits and four runs over seven innings, striking out two and walking zero.

South Range will be back in action on Monday against Girard as Lakeview took on Stow for their second game of the day.
