RAIDERS GET TWO MORE WINS IN MYRTLE

GAME 1:

South Range beat Greenbrier Christian Academy 7-3 on Wednesday.

The Raiders got things moving in the second inning, when Kelly Szolek singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

South Range tallied three runs in the sixth inning. Their big inning was driven by singles by Hannah Ball and Madison Dado and a double by Jillian Strecansky.

Bree Kohler was the winning pitcher for the Raiders. The righthander allowed six hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out 13.

South Range tallied nine hits. Strecansky and Szolek each managed multiple hits. Strecansky went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead in hits.

GAME 2:

South Range scored five runs in the second on its way to an 8-2 victory over Cheraw on Wednesday. Jamie Feren, Hannah Ball, Reagan Irons, and Madison Dado each had RBIs in the frame.

The Raiders got things started in the second inning when Feren reached on a dropped third strike.

Juli Stachowicz got the win for South Range. The lefty allowed six hits and two runs over five innings, striking out nine. Bree Kohler threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Kohler recorded the last six outs to earn the save for South Range Raiders Varsity.

Jazz Dixon led things off in the pitcher’s circle for Cheraw. The bulldog allowed eight hits and eight runs over seven innings, striking out ten.

South Range socked one home run on the day. Stachowicz went yard in the seventh inning.

The Raiders tallied eight hits on the day. Dado, Kohler, and Stachowicz all had multiple hits. Stachowicz, Kohler, and Dado each managed two hits to lead.

Cheraw tallied seven hits in the game. Alex Steen and Ashley Robertson each had multiple hits.
