RAIDERS TAKE OUT THE BROOMS ON POLAND

POLAND, OH – South Range and Poland squared off in the second half of the back-to-back games on Wednesday night. The Raiders looked to get a season sweep, while the Bulldogs wanted revenge from the loss on Tuesday night. Billy Skripac started and finished the game on the rubber for South Range and Ryan Dilullo started on the rubber for Poland and Dino Angelilli finished the game. The Raiders started off with a 3 run lead and mid way through the game the Bulldogs were able to cut the lead to 1. But that didn’t stop South Range, led by good pitching from Skripac and a huge late RBI single from Mike Perry, the Raiders were able to come away with a 5-3 victory over Poland. 

 

For the Raiders, Billy Skripac: 8 K’s, 7 IP, 8 hits against. Aidan English: 2 for 3, 2 doubles, 1 BB. Mike Perry: 1 for 3, 1 single with 1 RBI.

 

For the Bulldogs, Ryan Dilullo: 5 K’s, 6.1 IP, 3 hits against. Bryce Barringer: 3 for 4, 3 singles, 1 run.

 

The Raiders will be back in action tomorrow, the 15th as they host Salem. The Bulldogs will travel to Howland to take on the Tigers on  Friday, the 16th. Don’t miss it on YSN!
