REBELS STRUGGLE IN OPENER AGAINST HOWLAND

Saturday was a long day for Crestview Varsity Softball, falling to Howland 12-2.

Howland pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third an error scored one run for the Tigers.

Howland scored eight runs in the fifth inning.

Kaedyn Sutton took the loss for Crestview. The righthander surrendered 12 runs on 11 hits over five innings, striking out five.

Howland launched two home runs on the day.

Brooke Brubaker led the Rebels with two hits in two at bats.

Crestview will stay at home on Monday as they’ll host Western Reserve.
