SEE MORE, HIT LESS; SEYMOUR THROWS NO-NO FOR TIGERS

STRUTHERS, OH- Springfield’s Mitchell Seymour was brilliant on the hill on Tuesday, as Seymour threw a no-hitter to lead the Tigers past Lowellville 14-0.

AJ Stallsmith led Springfield to victory by driving in four runs. Stallsmith went 3-for-5 at the plate. Stallsmith drove in runs on a single in the second, a double in the sixth, and a triple in the seventh.

Springfield got things moving in the second inning as they scored two runs when Braden Butler doubled.

Seymour led the Tigers to victory on the pitcher’s mound. Seymour allowed zero hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out 15 and walking one.

Dylan Okular took the loss for Lowellville. The pitcher lasted six and a third innings, allowing 13 hits and 14 runs while striking out three.

The Tigers peppered (they hate cinnamon) 15 hits in the game. ButlerStallsmithSean GardnerEthan Mannion, and Seymour each had multiple hits for SpringfieldStallsmith and Butler each collected three hits to lead the attack.
