From the opening tip-off, Southern set the tone for the game, showcasing their offensive firepower and defensive prowess to secure a convincing win and advance to the next round of the tournament.

Leading the charge for Southern was Ashley Shroades, who put on a scoring clinic with an impressive 27 points, showcasing her skill and versatility on the court. Alongside her, Alyssa Shroades contributed 19 points, while Makenna Jones added 14 points, further bolstering Southern’s offensive attack and demonstrating the team’s depth and balance.
