SPARTANS BUST OUT WIN ON OPENING DAY

TORONTO, OH- The Boardmann Spartans beat Toronto 4-2 in their season opener Thursday night. On the mound they were lead by Gavin Hyde and Seth Cervello. Hyde picked up the win while Cervello grabbed the save. Hyde and Cervello combined for 10K’s.

Offensively the Spartans were lead by Stephen Conti with 3 hits and 2 runs scored while Colin Thomas jump started the Spartans 3 run inning. Griffin Widrig and Jason Triveri both added a double.

The Spartans take on Crestview this Friday in Crestview at 5pm.
