CAMPBELL, OH – Coach King arrived at Tavern 26 excited and ready to talk about his football team and the two premier players he has in Demetrius Lambert Jr and Malik Young.

 

King sat down with Matt Maher to not only look back at last weeks game and look forward to this week, but he also went into further detail on what he saw from his team, what he liked and what this group has meant to him and the city of Campbell so far this season.

CAMPBELL OH- Andrew King is back in Campbell for his fourth year coaching the football program.  The fourth year is always a fun one to watch, because the freshman that started with him are now seniors in the program.  That means these senior leaders are going to be more motivated than ever to get wins for their coach.  The Red Devils are a team that is featuring a ton of speed and athleticism this season, and they’re hoping that will give them an advantage.  They shift over to the other side of the MVAC this season, and coach King thinks that will lead to some positive things.  The sizes of the MVAC Scarlett tier are a lot more comparable to Campbell, and so is the style of play.

Coach King has been on YSN quite a bit the last couple seasons, and that trend continues as he joins Anthony Hartwig to preview the season.  They talk about how established his expectations are in his fourth season, the strengths of his roster, and much more. CAMPBELL MEMORIAL RED DEVILS FOOTBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP. 7) WITH ANDREW KING

CAMPBELL, OH – Head coach Andrew King and the Campbell Memorial Red Devils are looking to build some momentum in the final weeks of the 2023 regular season. Coming off a tough match up with the Garrettsville Garfield G-Men in week 6, the Red Devils will return home this week as they will take on the Champion Flashes on Friday night.

YSN’s own, Steve Leslie, was able to sit down with Coach King at Tavern 26 this week to discuss last week’s game at Garrettsville Garfield, what he and his staff have been doing to keep the spirits high and the team focused on the rest of the season, and what his keys to victory are for a very tough opponent in Garrettsville Garfield this week, and so much more.

CAMPBELL, OH – Coming off a tough road game at Crestview, head coach Andrew King and the Campbell Memorial Red Devils (1-4) are looking to right the ship and get back to their winning ways. Last week saw the Red Devils fall, 44-20, to the Rebels and this week will be another challenge as they will travel up to Garrettsville Garfield to take on the undefeated G-men in week six.

YSN’s own, Chris Sigler, was able to sit down with Coach King at Tavern 26 this week to discuss last week’s game at Crestview, what he and his staff have been implementing this week in practice to get the Red Devils back on track, and what his keys to victory are for a very tough opponent in Garrettsville Garfield this week.

CAMPBELL, OH – The Campbell Memorial Red Devils (1-3) are coming off a heartbreaking loss in week four to the Newton Falls Tigers. Head coach Andrew Kinng and the Red Devils fought hard but fell just short. This week they are looking to rebound and take care of business the Red Devil way. Up next for Campbell Memorial will be a challenging road test against MVAC foe, the Crestview Rebels (0-4).

CAMPBELL, OH – Head coach Andrew King and the Campbell Memorial Red Devils are looking to get back on track this week as they built some confidence towards the end of last week’s game. The offense began moving the ball consistently and the defense started to buckle down more to create some havoc for McDonald, unfortunately however, the Blue Devils escaped Campbell with a win. Up next for the Red Devils will be a tough MVAC match up at home against the Newton Falls Tigers

CAMPBELL, OH – Coming off a tough loss against the Lowellville Rockets, head coach Andrew King and the Campbell Memorial Red Devils are looking to reestablish themselves on offense and continue playing hard nosed defense. The Red Devils return home to John Knapik Field this week to take on a 2-0 McDonald Blue Devils team on Friday night.

CAMPBELL FOOTBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP 1) WITH ANDREW KING

CAMPBELL OH- All though everyone is still soaking up the sun in the remaining weeks of summer, the fall sports season right around the corner. That means football teams are hard at work to put together a successful 2022 campaign.

Campbell is welcoming Andrew King in his second year as head coach with the program. The Red Devils offer up plenty of talent, and returning experience. Coach King wants to make the small adjustments that spelled the difference between a win and a loss last season.

Coach King took the time to come on to YSN’s Running Point to help us preview the upcoming football season in Campbell. He talked about returning leaders, the Campbell community, and much more.
