The entire community of Salem might just go insane counting down the days till first pitch!  For Coach Michael DeBarr, the regular season will be a huge key for Salem to repeat the success they tasted a year ago.  The Eastern Buckeye Conference provides plenty of challenges for The Quakers to face this season, but the strength of their non-conference schedule will open some eyes.   Their opening game? A rematch of last year’s Regional Semi-Final against another powerhouse in Gary Knittle’s Canfield Cardinals.

Of course, Ohio’s weather pattern might have different plans for us; however, East Liverpool, Howland and Ursuline all make an appearance on Salem’s schedule.   They have confidence, they have swagger and they are not afraid to let you know it!
