THE RAIDER LOGAMOTIVE

CANFIELD, OH- Every mode of transport only goes as far as the engine will take them.  Cars, Trains, Planes, and Humans are all restricted by what is being fueled.

The South Range Raiders are no different.

Their final destination they’re looking to achieve is Canton, Ohio.  The conductor is one of the best coaching staffs in the area, led by one of the best to ever walk the sidelines in Northeast Ohio.  The gas is the high-octane skill players littered all over the field on offense and defense clad in burgundy and gold.

The engine?

The engine is a hybrid of an athlete that has a never-quit motor on both sides of the football.  A young man who has helped mold the character of this very football team.  A fan of the game, a fan of his teammates, and a guy that will do whatever it takes to make sure his team are the last ones standing.

The engine, you ask?

The “Logamotive” Logan Cormell, a multi-sport athlete who has Raider fans smiling, opposing coaches baffled, and recruiters at the next level drooling.

We had the honor to sit down with Cormell to talk about the perfect season thus far, his teammates, his role models, and a little Steelers/Browns mixed in.

FINA-LALLY HIS TIME!

CANFIELD, OH- You can’t teach size.

However, when you find a player with size, athleticism, IQ, and a chip on his shoulder the size of Texas- you find a special talent.

You’ve found South Range’s, Michael Lally.

At 6’1, 285 pounds- Lally’s size makes him a force.  It’s all the other intangibles, however, that make him so dangerous on this Raider Offensive line.  The Raider offense has come out on-top in each contest they’ve competed in to this point.  Lally’s job is to create creases for his backs, and keep Billy Skripac’s uniform clean.

Check, and check.

Lally has opened lanes wider than most highways, and “17’s” jersey is so clean- it’s been used in Tide commercials.

Regardless of all of this, Lally is the type of young man you’re proud to call a friend.  He’s the type of young man that engages YOU in conversation during those awkward teenage years when most shy away and hide behind their phones.  When most see 77 on a Friday (or Saturday) night- it’s enough to strike fear into your world, but once you get to know him- he’s one of the most stand up individuals you’ve ever encountered.

We had the chance to sit down with Big Mike for this week’s South Range Player Profile: FINA-LALLY HIS TIME!

“WOR” OF THE TIGER

CANFIELD, OH – Senior offensive and defensive lineman, Zeek Worsencroft, joined the show for another Springfield Tigers football player profile! Worsencroft talks about what he has done from a senior leadership standpoint, what it has meant to him to be a Tiger for his career, what his goals are for the playoffs as well as the team’s goals, and a little preview of their first round match up against a familiar foe, the Blue Devils of Western Reserve.
