TIGERS PROVE THEY CAN WIN IN DIFFERENT WAYS

BERLIN CRNTER OH- A lot of Springfield’s wins this season have seen them score in bunches. They have multiple players on the court at all times that can find their way on the stat sheet at any time.  On Monday night in their first contest of the new year, the Tigers proved that they could handle a defensive battle and still come out on top. Western Reserve pushed the Springfield offense to their lowest total of the year but it wasn’t enough to tame the Tigers. Springfield found a way to win 34-24 over the Blue Devils.

Jacey Mullen still had an incredible output by finishing with 22 points.  Madi Lesnak added 7 points to the Tigers total as well.  Linny Jones led the Blue Devils with 9 points.  Alyvia Hughes was able to chip in 8 points as well.

Springfield has a week off to prepare for a major matchup with Waterloo on the road on Monday. Western Reserve will remain home on Thursday and host McDonald.
