Springfield’s Emma Sanders scored early to give the Tigers a 1-0 lead five minutes into the game. Maddie Page followed that up with her first of 5 goals putting Springfield up 2-0 less than ten minutes in. Page and Sanders also each contributed with an assist. Springfield score often while getting goals from Kandall Maughan, Hannah Stoffer, Ella Perry, Macey Isaacson (first varsity goal), and Kristina Vecchione (first varsity goal). The Tigers added assists from Ava Vecchione, Sami Shafer, Maughan, Stouffer, Isaacson, and Cara Castor.
Keeper Emma Mills only had to make 2 saves but she gets the shut out, with 15 minutes of help from Ally Guerriero. A shout out goes to our defenders for locking down the Raiders attack (Ava and Kristina Vecchione, Sanders, Maughan, and Hallie Joyce.
South Range keeper Lilah Angus had 7 saves.
