WARRIORS KEEP THE RAIDERS ANCHORED

NEW CASTLE PA- Mohawk defeats South Range, 53-39, to improve to 5-1 and continue their hot start to the 2023-24 campaign.

The Warriors jumped out to an early 15-5 lead in the first quarter, where Deyani Revis scored six points.

Mohawk picked up where the left off in the first quarter and went into halftime with a 30-14 lead after Erynne Capablo scored eight points in the quarter, making two three-pointers, and blocked two shots.

The Raiders flipped the switch offensively after halftime, outscoring the Warriors the second half, but it was not enough to overcome their early-game struggles.

Erynne Capalbo was Mohawk’s driving force once again, finishing the game with 18 points and three blocks, and was the game’s leading scorer.

Deyani Revis contributed with 14 points, Keira Julian and Aricka Young both scored nine points, and Chloe Fadden scored three points.

Madison Dado led the Raiders with 10 points, seven of them coming in the second half, Devin Sauerwein scored nine points, and Gwen Lowry scored seven points, all of which came in the second half.
