WEST BRANCH ON THE WRONG END OF DEFENSIVE BATTLE

CARROLLTON, OHIO- Both teams were strong on the hill on Tuesday, but Carrollton was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a 2-0 victory over West Branch.

Beau Alazaus started the game for the Warriors and recorded 18 outs.

Hayden Jenkins led Carrollton  to victory on the pitcher’s mound as the pitcher surrendered zero runs on zero hits over seven innings, striking out 11.

Alazaus took the loss for West Branch as he pitcher allowed four hits and two runs over six innings, striking out five and walking zero.

West Branch and Carrollton will face off once again on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.
