SOUTH RANGE STILL GOING STRONG

South Range had all cylinders firing on offense on Friday, winning big over Jefferson Area 9-3

The Raiders got things moving in the first inning, when Juli Stachowicz singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

South Range scored four runs in the seventh inning. Their big bats were led by Mallory Vidman and Bree Kohler, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Stachowicz took the win for South Range. Stachowicz surrendered three runs on eight hits over seven innings, striking out five and walking zero.

South Range tallied two home runs on the day. Jillian Strecansky went deep in the fifth inning. Samantha Susany had a homer in the second inning.

The Raiders tallied 13 hits in the game. Kohler, Madison Dado, Susany, Strecansky, and Stachowicz all managed multiple hits. Stachowicz, Strecansky, Susany, Dado, and Kohler all had two hits to lead.

Jefferson saw the ball well today, racking up eight hits in the game.
