ALLEN THROWS SHUTOUT AS VIKINGS SHOCK MCDONALD

Desi Allen had all the right stuff on Friday for LaBrae, allowing zero runs and besting McDonald by a score of 6-0

The Vikings secured the victory thanks to four runs in the third inning. Viking’s big bats in the inning were led by a single by Myra Kintz, a home run by Allen, and an error on a ball put in play by Lindsey Brigham .

A single by Sarah Lorello in the second inning was a positive for McDonald.

Allen was the winning pitcher for the Vikings. The righthander allowed four hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out seven and walking zero.

Bri Callow took the loss for McDonald. The pitcher surrendered six runs on seven hits over six innings, striking out ten and walking zero.

LaBrae hit one home run on the day. Allen went for the long ball in the third inning.

The Vikings scattered seven hits in the game. Kintz, Aryana Hartman, and Allen all managed multiple hits. Allen, Hartman, and Kintz all had two hits to lead.
