CARDINAL MOONEY BOYS SOCCER COACH'S CORNER (EP 1) WITH MATT BRITTON

YOUNGSTOWN OH- In 2020 the Mooney boys soccer team made a run all the way to the state championship game. They fell just short but still ended up with the state runner up title. There’s only one way to one up their 2020 performance, and that is to win the whole thing. They have some pieces to replace, that is certain. They lost their whole midfield from 2020. They still do return 6 starters, and will have plenty of leadership. Head coach Matt Britton is entering his third season at the helm, and has dramatically turned the program around. Mooney opens the season on August 23rd at Berea Midpark.

Coach Britton took the time out of his day to join Running Point this week. He talks with Anthony Hartwig, and Ty Bartell about turning the program around, the experience of getting to the state championship, and so much more.
