DAILEY DOUBLE; LADY DEVILS SCORCH WELLSVILLE

LISBON, OH- Mckenna Dailey came the ballpark and meant business on Wednesday, driving in four on three hits to lead Lisbon past Wellsville 24-4 on Wednesday. Dailey drove in runs on a grand slam in the fourth.

An early lead helped propel the Lady Devils to victory. Lisbon scored on a walk by Justyce Vrable, a single by Parker Henthorne, an error, and a single by Marah Householder in the first inning.

Lisbon scored 11 runs in the second inning. The offensive onslaught was led by VrableMorgan LivelyMickenzie ShafferLexi KellyMya Emmerling, and Dailey, who all drove in runs.

Emmerling was the winning pitcher.   The righty surrendered four runs on three hits over five innings, striking out five.

Rayson took the loss for Wellsville. The bulldog surrendered 19 runs on 20 hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking one.

Lisbon saw the ball well today, racking up 21 hits in the game. VrableHouseholderHenthorneShafferDaileyKyrstin Reckner, and Lively all managed multiple hits for the Lady Devils. DaileyShafferHenthorneHouseholder, and Vrable all had three hits to lead the team.

Rayson went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Wellsville in hits.
