DON’T MESS WITH THE ROHAN

CANFIELD OH- Genetics can be a powerful force. Sometimes in a sport like baseball it truly is a family affair. That reigns true for Stevie Rohan. The South Range Senior doesn’t have to look far to find great advice in his family.  From college stars, to players who have signed with major league programs, the Rohan family is baseball through and through.

Stevie is carrying that Rohan flag strong with South Range. He has been described by coach Hanek as one of the best defensive third basemen he has ever coached.  That’s high praise from a coach who has seen a ton of talent come through his program over the years. Rohan’s development as a third baseman didn’t happen overnight. He gets praised for his work ethic in the offseason driving him to this point.

As much pride as Stevie takes in his glove, don’t think he slumps at the plate. Rohan is close to the top of almost every offensive category for the Raiders. He has become a big reason of their offensive productivity.  You can catch him in the middle of the order putting in the work to score runs for his team’s exceptional pitching staff.

Stevie took the time to hop on to YSN’s Running Point this week to talk about his senior season, and the success of this program over the years.  He talks with Anthony Hartwig and Ty Bartell about his family lineage in baseball, his future plans, and much more. South Range is playing in the regional semifinal on Thursday in Massillon. Make sure to get ready for it by checking out the latest South Range Baseball player profile!
