HUBBARD TAKES TO HEIGHTS OVER JEFFERSON TO SPLIT SERIES

HUBBARD, OH- Hubbard grabbed an early lead on its way to a 13-5 victory over Jefferson on Tuesday. The Eagles scored on a single by Albert Gerlick, a single by Brayden Murray, a single by Tristan Adamson, a single by Hayden Fox, and a walk by Joe Langley in the second inning

The Falcons scored three runs in the second inning, but Hubbard still managed to pull out the victory. The offensive onslaught by Jefferson was led by Marc Wood and Mason Jacobs, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Mike Zapka was on the hill for Hubbard. The righty surrendered four runs on seven hits over four and a third innings, striking out six.

Braydon Throop was on the mound for Jefferson. The righthander went one inning, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out one and walking zero. Kirkland Lambert and Wood entered the game as relief, throwing four innings and one inning respectively.

Ryan Murray went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Hubbard in hits

Jefferson totaled ten hits in the game. Dylan Cotton and Throop each managed multiple hits for the Falcons.
