LADY QUAKERS LEAVE NORTHWEST IN THEIR WAKE
BARBERTON, OH- The Salem Girls Basketball Team has a favor to ask:
Keep doubting what they can do.
After a season full of proving naysayers wrong, and handing out crow like it’s a lunch special, the Lady Quakers are one game away from the Final Four after a 33-26 victory over Canal Fulton Northwest on Tuesday night.
Kami Rohm led the Lady Quakers in the points column with 11 points and seemingly as many blocks- while Alivia Davidson-Chuck drilled three clutch buckets from beyond the arc to give her nine points on the night. Abbie Davidson sliced through the Lady Indian defense like a hot knife through butter on her way to a sneaky seven points in the victory.
Salem now stands tall at 20-4 on the season, and will now face Norton who knocked out West Branch just prior to the Salem contest. The game is currently scheduled for Friday night at 7 pm with a trip to Dayton on the line.
