MCDONALD OH- In a hard-fought volleyball match, the McDonald team showcased their determination and skill as they secured a victory over a talented LaBrae squad. The contest stretched across four intense sets, with both teams battling relentlessly for the win.

The match opened with a closely contested first set, where McDonald managed to pull ahead and claim it with a final score of 25-21. LaBrae responded with determination in the second set, showing their resilience and claiming it with a score of 25-22.

However, McDonald quickly regained their composure and momentum in the third set, dominating with a convincing 25-11 victory. This strong performance set the stage for a thrilling fourth set.

The fourth set was a true nail-biter, with both teams giving their all. In the end, McDonald narrowly edged out LaBrae with a final score of 26-24, securing the match victory.

Several standout performances defined McDonald’s success on the court. Gianna Costantino displayed remarkable skills, contributing 25 kills and 16 digs for an impressive double-double. Juliana Krumpak also showcased her versatility with 12 kills and 20 digs, earning a double-double of her own.

Megan Klockner proved to be a key player for McDonald, orchestrating the team’s offense with 43 assists. Her efforts were complemented by 13 digs and 6 kills, resulting in yet another double-double.
