MOONEY LACROSSE STARTS OUT HOT

YOUNGSTOWN, OH- The Cardinal Mooney girls lacrosse team begins season 1-0 with a victory over Southeast by the final of 12-1.

Ella Szalay led the team with 5 goals and 2 assists. Addison Stacy had 4 goals, while Angelina Rotunno had 2 goals, 2 assists, and 5 draw controls. Diara Yelverton added a goal and Maria Pecchia led the defense with 4 ground balls. Alyssa Ray had 7 saves in goal.

Mooney will host Boardman Monday night at 6pm.
