QUAKERS ARE TESTED FROM THE JUMP BUT PREVAIL AGAINST HOWLAND

HOWLAND OH- The Salem Lady Quakers started off the 2021-2022 season with an impressive victory of the Howland Lady Tigers 50-47 in Monday night action.

After taking a 28-24 lead into the half the Quakers could only score 6 points in the 3rd as the Tigers dropped in 17 to take a 5 point lead into the final frame, but Salem came out hitting on all cylinders out-scoring Howland 14-6 to end the contest. Pacing the way for the 1-0 Quakers was Rylee Hutton with a game high 17 points followed by Abby Perry’s 11 points.

Next up for Salem in a Saturday afternoonbattle with the visitin Fitch Falcons.
