REBEL BATS SILENT AGAINST LABRAE

LEAVITTSBURG, OH- LaBrae’s Landon Brunstetter was on a different level, driving in four runs on three hits to spearhead LaBrae’s decisive 10-0 smackdown against Crestview on Monday at LaBrae High School. Brunstetter was all over the place, doubling and singling in runs like it was batting practice.

LaBrae kicked things off in the first inning when Brunstetter cracked a single to bring in a run, followed by Brogan Collins smashing a double to tack on another. They kept the hits coming in the second inning, pushing five runs across on six hits. Owen Boone and Brunstetter both delivered RBIs, Dylan Simpson joined the RBI party with a double, Nate Goldner chipped in with a single, and a Crestview error allowed another run to sneak in.

In the third, Brunstetter wasn’t done yet—he doubled again, adding to the day’s haul, while Simpson followed up with another RBI single, ensuring LaBrae kept their foot on the gas.

On the mound, Simpson was just as dominant, bagging the win with a stingy one-hit, scoreless outing over five innings while fanning seven.

Crestview’s Feezle bore the brunt of LaBrae’s offensive onslaught, surrendering 10 runs in just over two innings of work.

At the dish, LaBrae racked up 14 hits. Simpson, Boone, and Austin Rowe all had multi-hit days, keeping the bases warm for LaBrae.

Defensively, LaBrae was slick, pulling off a double play to stifle any chance of a Crestview rally. For Crestview, Kimble managed the only hit in his two at-bats.

LaBrae’s next face-off is a rematch with Crestview on Tuesday.
